RTA Label: What It Means and How to Block Adult Sites

RTA Label: Restricted To Adults

BuyPremiumPorn is an adults-only (18+) website. If you are under 18, please leave. This page explains the RTA label, which adult sites use to signal that they are not for kids, and how parents can block adult websites on their family’s devices.

What does RTA mean?

RTA stands for “Restricted To Adults.” It is a website label maintained by ASACP, a long-established nonprofit. Adult websites add the label to their pages, and parental-control and filtering software that recognizes it can block those pages automatically. The label is voluntary, and it only works where the filtering software supports it, so it is one layer of protection and not a guarantee. You can read more at rtalabel.org.

This website is for adults only

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use this site. We compare adults-only membership sites, and every performer on those sites is an adult. Our pages are meant to be blocked by parental controls and age-restriction filters.

How parents can block adult sites

No filter is perfect, so combine a few of these options. Menu names change between versions, so check your device’s current settings.

  • Windows: Create a family group in Microsoft Family Safety, add your kid’s Microsoft account and turn on the filter for inappropriate websites and searches. It works through Microsoft Edge, and other browsers may be blocked unless you allow them.
  • macOS: Open Screen Time in System Settings, choose Content & Privacy, then Web Content, and select the option to limit adult websites. Set a Screen Time passcode so settings cannot be changed.
  • iPhone and iPad: Go to Settings, then Screen Time, then Content & Privacy Restrictions. Under Content Restrictions, open Web Content and choose Limit Adult Websites, and protect the settings with a passcode.
  • Android: Use Google Family Link to supervise your kid’s account, then open the Chrome filter setting and choose the option that tries to block explicit sites. Review the Google Play content settings too.
  • Router or DNS filter: Many routers let you change the DNS servers for the whole home network. Family-filtering DNS services such as Cloudflare for Families (1.1.1.3 and 1.0.0.3) block adult content for every device on that Wi-Fi network, and OpenDNS FamilyShield offers a similar service.

Tips for making filters work

  • Use separate accounts for each family member and keep administrator passwords private.
  • Apply filters on every device, including tablets, game consoles and guest accounts.
  • Remember that router filters do not follow a phone onto mobile data or another Wi-Fi network, so keep device-level controls on as well.
  • Talk openly with your kids about what they may see online. Filters help, but conversation matters most.
