Updated 18+

CCBill cancel subscription in brief: go to support.ccbill.com, choose the payment method you used, enter any two of your email, card number and subscription ID, and cancel the subscription it finds. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period, or the next renewal goes through. You can also call 888-596-9279 (24/7) or email consumersupport@ccbill.com. A CCBill.com or CCBillEU charge means a website you joined uses CCBill for billing, not that CCBill runs the site.

  1. Gather two detailsYou need any two of your email address, card number, account number or subscription ID. The sign-up confirmation email usually has the subscription details.
  2. Open CCBill Consumer SupportGo to support.ccbill.com and use the Search/Cancel a Subscription form.
  3. Choose how you paidSelect the payment method from the list: credit card, online check, telephone billing, SEPA, Direct Pay, GiroPay, iDEAL or Latin American billing.
  4. Search and cancelEnter two identifiers to run the search, then cancel the subscription shown. Only subscriptions tied to the exact details you enter appear, so retry with another email or card if needed.

  6. Use phone, email or chat if the search failsCall 888-596-9279 (24/7), email consumersupport@ccbill.com (CCBill says it replies within 48 hours), use live chat or submit the online form. Keep any confirmation.

What is CCBill?

CCBill is a payment processor. Its consumer support site says that if a charge on your statement refers to CCBill, you purchased a subscription from a website that uses CCBill for billing. CCBill does not own or operate those websites. We are an independent review site, not affiliated with CCBill, and we cannot cancel for you.

CCBill cancel subscription: ways to cancel

CCBill lists several options and says to choose whichever suits you.

  • Online search: at support.ccbill.com, select your payment method, enter two identifiers and cancel from the result.
  • Phone: 888-596-9279 for the 24-hour Consumer Support center. Callers outside the US can find international numbers on CCBill’s contact page.
  • Email: consumersupport@ccbill.com. CCBill says it replies within 48 hours.
  • Live chat and online form: both are linked from the Consumer Support page.

If the search finds nothing, CCBill’s page says to submit the consumer support form with as much information as possible, or to contact Consumer Service directly.

The 24-hour rule for avoiding the next charge

CCBill explains that recurring memberships renew automatically at the end of the original term unless a cancellation request arrives 24 hours before the end of the billing period. It adds that the cycle starts immediately at sign-up and rebills to the minute from the first transaction. For example, a membership bought at 9 PM would renew at 9 PM on the renewal date, so the cancellation must arrive by 9 PM the day before.

Cancelling does not cut access right away. CCBill says you keep access until the end of the most recent term that has been paid for.

What a CCBill charge looks like on your statement

CCBill says subscription purchases appear discreetly as CCBill.com or CCBillEU, together with a toll-free customer support number. The exact item descriptor for each site is shown on the CCBill sign-up page. CCBill’s terms add that CCBill and the merchant appear jointly on your statement, with each product listed separately. You can also search your purchase history on the Consumer Support page using your card number, email address or subscription ID.

CCBill refunds

CCBill’s consumer terms say that when you cancel a recurring subscription, past recurring fees are not refunded, and that consumed goods and services are non-refundable. Refunds and returns are governed by the merchant’s own terms, and any refund CCBill or the merchant issues goes only to the original payment method. Contact the website’s support first, then CCBill, and keep your confirmation email.

Cancelled but still charged

CCBill’s advice is to forward the email that confirms the cancellation, from CCBill’s Support Center or the site’s webmaster, to Consumer Support. If it proves you cancelled before the charge, CCBill says it will credit your account for transactions made in error. If you cannot find the cancellation email, search your spam folder or ask the site to resend it.

Free trials, fraud and unknown charges

For a free trial paid by credit card, CCBill’s terms say your bank puts a Reserved Funds hold on the plan price, which typically takes 7 to 10 days to disappear after a cancellation. If you do not recognize a charge or suspect fraud, CCBill asks you to call Consumer Support at 888.596.9279 immediately and to be ready to verify your identity. Its terms also say it may block your information from all CCBill merchants after an unauthorized-use claim. If the issue is not resolved, contact your card issuer. In the US, the CFPB says a written billing-error notice within 60 days of the statement date protects your rights; this is general information, not legal advice.

Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel a CCBill subscription?

Go to support.ccbill.com, choose your payment method, enter any two of your email, card number, account number or subscription ID, and cancel the subscription the search finds. You can also call 888-596-9279, email consumersupport@ccbill.com, use live chat or fill in the online form. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your billing period.

What is a CCBill.com or CCBillEU charge?

It means you signed up, or tried to sign up, for a website that uses CCBill for payments. CCBill says subscription purchases appear as CCBill.com or CCBillEU with a toll-free support number, and the exact descriptor for each site is shown on the CCBill sign-up page. Use the support.ccbill.com search to match the charge to a subscription.

When must I cancel to avoid the next CCBill charge?

CCBill says you must cancel a full 24 hours before the end of the initial billing period to stop automatic renewal. The billing cycle starts immediately at sign-up and renews to the minute from the first transaction, so cancel well ahead of the renewal time rather than on the renewal day.

Can I get a CCBill refund?

Not automatically. CCBill's consumer terms say past recurring fees are not refunded when you cancel, consumed goods and services are non-refundable, and refunds are governed by the merchant's terms. Any refund issued goes to the original payment method. Contact the site and CCBill Consumer Support, and keep your cancellation confirmation.

I cancelled but CCBill charged me again. What now?

Forward the email confirming your cancellation, from CCBill's Support Center or the site's webmaster, to CCBill Consumer Support. CCBill says it will credit your account for transactions made in error once it receives proof you cancelled before the charge. If it is not resolved, contact your card issuer.

Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. CCBill says cancelling does not immediately remove your access to the website. You keep access until the end of the most recent term that has been paid for, regardless of what time you cancel. Check the website's own terms if you are unsure what your paid term covers.
